Title
Group of Hispanic Men at the Altar in a Church
Creator
Description
Photograph of a group of Hispanic men standing in front of an altar. The men are standing in three tiered rows; the men in the front row are sitting in chairs. All of the men are wearing suits and ties, plus light colored ribbons pinned to their jackets. There is a table offset slightly from the center with an embroidered tablecloth, books, and papers on it. The man sitting behind the table is holding a gavel. The floor is made of wooden slats, and there is an aisle of checkerboard tile that leads up to the altar. There is a stone arch with a sign strung across it that reads "BIENVENIDOS" (translated to "Welcome") behind the men. There are two cloth banners with writing on them on both sides of the arch way. Not all of the writing is visible, however the writing that is visible on the first banner reads, "Con Su Luz Me Con" (translated to "With Me With Your Light"). The visible writing on the second banner reads, "La Mujer Que Teme" (translated to "The Woman Who Fears"). There is a decorative tan mat around the photograph, which is also inside a double-fold moss green frame folder.
