Shades Of L.A. Is An Archive Of Photographs Representing The Contemporary And Historic Diversity Of Families In Los Angeles. Images Were Chosen From Family Albums And Include Daily Life, Social Organizations, Work, Personal And Holiday Celebrations, And Migration And Immigration Activities. Robert Danziger, Founder and Chief of Sunlaw Energy Partners I, L.P. poses with the "Aztec Princess" model at mural dedication. The mural titled "Aztec Princess", was painted in 1990 by artist Eloy Torrez on the side of a building at the energy plant owned by Sunlaw Cogeneration Partners I, and is a portrait of the artist's girlfriend (seen here). Her pose is intended to suggest both the Statue of Liberty and the Virgin of Guadalupe. Photo dated: 1990.
