Title
Aztec Dancers At "Aztec Princess" Mural Dedication
Description
Aztec dancers, dressed in traditional Aztec costume, perform at mural dedication. The mural titled "Aztec Princess" was painted in 1990 by artist Eloy Torres on the side of a building at the energy plant owned by Sunlaw Cogeneration Partners I. The building can be seen in the background, but the mural is just out of view. The mural is a portrait of the artist's girlfriend; her pose was intended to suggest both the Statue of Liberty and the Virgin of Guadalupe.
